Standardized quality in data collection and evaluation is only achieved through automation – the use of human resources for these ever more challenging tasks is becoming increasingly risky, inefficient and error-prone.
Due to the fact that especially wind turbines – both onshore and offshore – are steadily increasing in size, the demand for automated systems for the inspection of wind turbines or other vertical objects is growing steadily.
The completely new approach of capturing the entire plant digitally makes it possible to carry out comparative inspections to assess the development of individual anomalies over longer periods of time. Individual point-by-point recordings of damages do not reflect a complete picture of an object at the time of inspection. The integration of such – non-standardized – data in ERP systems or databases is difficult, extremely expensive and costly. Therefore, often it is not done. The data collected in this way do not constitute well-founded and structured knowledge in the sense of a company’s own knowledge management.
Due to increasing plant size and under difficult weather conditions, as these occur sometimes onshore, near the coast or in the offshore areas, the use of industrial climbers is fundamentally problematic. Responsible companies are increasingly recognizing the advantages of reducing dangers as well as quality advantages: the automated use of a drone is often more efficient and safer, the subsequent evaluation and interpretation based on the digital input material can be used precisely and more sustainable.
Aero Enterprise takes all these circumstances fully into account: We are currently developing ISO 9001 standards internally (completion by the end of 2018) and operate in accordance with the rules of the international air traffic control authorities as applied in commercial operations.
Ongoing compliance with our internal security standards is ensured through Aero Enterprise training. All our employees must ensure to instruct foreign staff on our own safety regulations, and strictly adhere to the safety requirements imposed by our clients.
