Certificate of airworthiness and documentation

For the approval of your aerial vehicle, respective Drone or UAS we support you in the preparation of the necessary documentation such as strength calculations, electrical plans, redundancies, descriptions, noise certificate etc.

 

External payloads

Do you have special external loads or test bodies that has to be carried into the air?
Our SensorCopter is designed modularly and is capable to transport relatively heavy external payloads, up to 8,5 kg for 30 minutes.

Partner Program

The partner program is based on a division of labor between the co-operation partner and Aero Enterprise

The partner uses his own conventional DJI drone equipment on site

 

Aero Enterprise assists the partner in finding a recommended drone and the right equipment. Further, Aero Enterprise gives an introduction and training on how to use the AERO-Software Package. With our software the partner can evaluate, interpret and generate an automated report.

Process flow for the condition detection on the rotor blades

 

1. Data collection with consumer drone and data upload to the Aero Enterprise server

The partner collects the data with a consumer drone (e.g. DJI Inspire 2 or Matrice). Aero Enterprise supports the partner on flight procedures on the object. Further also on the process and data handling through training, webinars and documents.

2. Data processing and data provision for the partner by Aero Enterprise

Aero Enterprise carries out the preparation of the data (post-processing). These are specific activities such as exact height determination, positioning in the environment and image name adjustments. Also, pre-classification of the images with regard to extra tags such as leading edge, trailing edge, rotation angle calculations, allocation of the blade numbers etc. Then the data gets customized, secured and sorted on our server. These are encrypted directly via VPN tunnels. Thus, the data is not in a cloud.

3. Analysis, qualification & classification of the data by Aero Enterprise or the partner

With the self-developed AERO-Lyse software the partner can examine the data as well as mark, measure, classify and document damages.

4. Condition documentation by Aero Enterprise or the partner

At the end, the partner receives an entire status report in digital and/or physical form (PDF) by only one mouse click. The report includes the evidence of the damaged areas at corresponding positions. Moreover, the report illustrates the image material of the entire object. The report can feature the partner’s branding in form of logo or sub-information.

Service Model

The AERO-Software Package developed by us also offers our customers and partners the opportunity to participate in the investigation of damaged areas on inspection objects and to recognize the respective abnormalities in location and position. The recorded data is reproduced in a virtual 3D space on the object, so that the abnormalities can be qualified and quantified at any time in area and length as well as classified according to type and extent of damage.

Analysis & Reporting is part of our partner model, where usually the customer him selves acquires digital data of the rotor blades with his own Multicopter drones according to Aero Enterprise methods and procedures.

As part of our cooperation, the partner will be able to focus fully on his additional inspection tasks inside the wind-turbine during recurring or condition-based inspections. Of course, this is also possible for inspection after the end of the warranty or during the test of completion of wind turbines.

As part of a technical due diligence of entire wind farms, an overall overview of the respective assets for insurance companies, fund managers and operating companies can be generated very quickly.

Inspection-service on industrial plants

Airborne Quality Assurance


We also offer our airborne inspection service for industrial facilities. Already existing applications in the field of bridges, chimneys, blast furnaces, pipelines, dams, gasometers etc. are evidence of our competence.

 

Inspection

The specific procedures of optical inspections and the detection of the actual states of industrial plants are varying a lot.

Determining factors for obtaining meaningful results are the customer’s exact requirements, the local conditions, the legal framework and the qualification of the UAV pilot…what finally leads to the flight methodology and the selection of the suitable drone.

The collected data are processed by Aero Enterprise, get standardized and available for displaying in the viewer software, AERO-View.

Depending on the service model, in the following step the gathered data can be analysed under use of the self-developed license software AERO-Lyse. Abnormalities can be quantified, qualified and classified according to the amount of damage.

A digital technical report is generated automatically with support of the database AERO-Base by only one click. On request customized status reports can be carried out.

Inspection-service on wind-turbines offshore

Data-acquisition – Data-analysis – Automated reporting

The automated inspection of offshore wind farms is still a young segment. Based on the experience gained from our many mainland inspection flights, we refined all hardware and software procedures. Further we optimized the procedures for the offshore environment. This enables us to do the first inspection flights in the North Sea and Baltic Sea in 2019.

Inspection

Aerial robots realize the external optical inspections of onshore wind turbines. The involved components are rotor blades (from all 4 sides!) as well as spinner. The nacelle and tower are optional.

The self-developed helicopter-drone AERO-SensorCopter Offshore carries out the (autonomous) airborne data acquisition.

The collected data gets processed, standardized and made available for displaying in the license, AERO-View.

In the following step, the gathered data gets analysed under use of the license AERO-Lyse (depending on the service model). Anomalies can be quantified, qualified and classified according to the amount of damage. This is done by Aero Enterprise itself, by the customer or by a qualified external expert.

A digital technical report is generated under use of the database AERO-Base by only one click. On request customized status reports can be carried out.

For the offshore sector we use only hardware and software developed by Aero Enterprise:

AERO-SensorCopter Offshore: developed for marine requirements. Thus, autopiloted, robust, capable of strong winds up to approx. 14 m/s (50 km/h or 27 kts) suitable for use in saltwater environment, buoyant and easy to transport. This ensures a high level of operational readiness. Even if industrial climbers are no longer allowed to work on the wind turbine for labour law reasons.

Mobile Ground Station Case: Transportable and equipped with redundant instruments. Optimized for monitoring the automated flights.

AERO-Software Package: For all analysis and interpretation processes.

The inspection service of wind turbines we provide is very diverse. There are different modular service levels which offers many advantages and benefits – combined with the possible active involvement of our customers.

Inspection

Aerial robots realize the external optical inspections of onshore wind turbines. More precisely, the components are rotor blades (from all 4 sides!) as well as the spinner. The nacelle and tower are optional.

The (autonomous) airborne data acquisition is carried out either by Aero Enterprise or as part of a partner program, by the customer himself. Aero Enterprise uses the self-developed helicopter-drone AERO-SensorCopter. The partner uses commercial DJI multicopter-drones.

With the start of the cooperation program, Aero Enterprise supports the partner with training in method and (flight) procedures in theory and practice. The comprehensive digital tool AERO-Software Package is used.
