Aero Enterprise is EN ISO 9001:2015 certified
On December 12, 2018, Aero Enterprise passed the certification audit for the airborne inspection for on-/offshore wind turbines and industrial objects of all kind, including data analysis, classification and reporting.
Aero Enterprise has passed the established standard in the certification audit with TÜV Austria in December 2018 and thus proves the mastery of quality management according to the international standard.
The ISO 9001:2015 is a well-known standard for the certification of quality management systems. The norm describes the requirements for operations and work equipment as well as the outcome of a company in order to guarantee a standard promised by quality policy of the company. At the same time, the management system is subject to a continuous improvement process.
‘The certification forms the basis for the continuous improvement of Aero Enterprise. At the same time this gives us the opportunity to prove the high quality standard of our service to our customers, explains Robert Hörmann.
The inspection process on wind power and industrial plants is carried out with the self-developed AERO-SensorCopter. All sub-steps of the inspection were confiremd according to the standard by verification measurements. Thus, the sensors of the flight-robot are verified according to the standard. Further, the AERO-SensorCopter is part of a measuring instrument. As a result, it is now possible to measure distances and size with verified accuracy in the evaluation software.
The inspection process at wind power plants and industrial plants takes place not only with multicopters but also with the in-house developed AERO-SensorCopter. All sub-steps of the inspection were corroborated according to the standard by verification measurements of all measuring components. Thus, the sensors of the aircraft are verified according to the standard. This means that the drones used are part of a measuring instrument. Subsequently, the verified accuracy of the distances and sizes within the analysis software (AERO-Software Package) can be verified.
The successful certification provides the basis for the long-term orientation of Aero Enterprise. The main goal is the increased customer orientation and thus increased customer satisfaction.

Having successfully completed the integration of consumer drones into our Aero Enterprise inspection concept, we are now looking for cooperation partners with drone flight experience. We have the technology to integrate external image data from drone flights into our software.

Aero Enterprise at the ‘Offshoretage‘ in Warnemünde
Symposium of the international offshore wind energy industry in Rostock
On March 2nd Robert Hörmann presented the possibilities and limits of an airborne inspection with drones.
As part of our planned first offshore test flight series, Robert Hörmann spoke on the subject of “Technical Challenges and Developments” at the ‘Offshoretage’ 2018 in Warnemünde/Germany on March 2nd. Among other things, he showed the possibilities and limitations of an airborne inspection with drones.
This year’s ‘Offshoretage’ from 1st to 2nd March in the Yachthafenresidenz Hohe Düne offered insights into the offshore market, its framework conditions as well as the state of the art and innovations.

Robert Hörmann presented the concept of “Airborne Quality assurancM – UAS for the inspection of wind turbines” on 18 January on the subject of “Mass deployment of drones”.
From 18th to 19th January the helicopter museum Bückeburg / Germany invited to the third RotorDrone Forum. The main focus was on the topic of “revolution in airspace” and “safe flight operations”.
Meaningful use of UAV’s record an enormous upgrowth. There is a particular need for the use of drones in urban areas. But what are the requirements for secure traffic management under these conditions? What opportunities and risks exist in the future deployment scenarios of drones? Among other things, the speakers addressed these questions.
